I love fashion, I love photography, and I love Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2013 ad campaign, shot by the incomparable Steven Meisel.

I’ve lived in L.A. for years now and before that I lived in New York for seven years. I’m constantly working to evolve my style towards the laid back California/polished New York mix that feels like my true style home. I could save myself the trouble and simply snap up Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, but that would break the bank, so for now, I’ll take a little inspiration from the feminine yet edge-relaxed vibe that Nicolas Ghesquière has perfected this season for the storied brand. I’d rock the mid-thigh length dresses and sleeveless coat, and I can even imagine the super short dress and skirts worn like a peplum atop a pencil skirt.
