Chekhov Wisdom:
On The Peace We Shall Find

Imagine Chekhov’s words are true: “We shall find peace. We shall hear angels. We shall see the sky sparkling with diamonds.”

For when our fears fall fallow, and the voices inside our heads quiet down, we become available to what is here now, and what is always here now is peace.

We have experienced it while walking in nature, or holding a baby, while listening to music or doing yoga, meditation or prayer. If we are attuned to the subtler dimensions of our bodies, we may have felt this field of peace surrounding us, permeating our being, and radiating out from our core. This peace from which we arise, in which we have our being, and into which we dissolve upon death is our true nature. It is our true home. Dwell there when you can, if just for a few moments, and you will be renewed.
