Hi! My name is Paula Puryear. This is my culture & lifestyle blog, where I write about the place where popular culture meets meaning.

I am a Screenwriter and Essayist. I’ve written and developed features and long-form television for Twentieth Century Fox, Lifetime and ABC and developed my original screenplays with various producers, production companies and cable networks. I’ve contributed at HuffPost, Medium and The Crisis Magazine. And I have guest lectured at The New School in New York City, and guest hosted radio arts programs in Los Angeles and New York.

And I am proud to have advised individual and organizational brands on brand narrative, and to have advised and assisted corporate and governmental clients in using narrative-based learning to create ethical and compliant culture within their organizations.
